Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis is to participate on Tuesday in a Trilateral Meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and Israel, followed by a Quadrilateral Meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia, the foreign ministry announced.

Subsequently, Gerapetritis is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the American Jewish Committee (AJC). Cyprus, Israel and Egypt will also participate in the meeting.

He will later attend a Ministerial Meeting commemorating the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute establishing the International Criminal Court.

The minister will also attend the opening of the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations, where speeches will be delivered by both the UN Secretary-General and the President of the UN General Assembly.

Lastly, in the context of promoting Greece's candidacy for a non-permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council for the 2025-2026 term, and with a view to enhancing Greece's bilateral relations, the foreign minister will hold meetings with his counterparts from Switzerland, Somalia, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.
